Meet the team

I joined Connection Capital in January 2024 after graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in International Relations and Politics. Despite not having a background in finance, I have enjoyed learning about the world of private equity and how it links into current affairs. The team have really helped me improve my knowledge around investments, and I am looking forward to gaining a greater understanding in this sector. In my role as a Client Services Assistant, my responsibilities range from helping integrate new client registrations to completing anti money-laundering procedures. I am learning new skills every day and I am pleased to be developing in a professional environment.

This is my first corporate role since graduating from university, and the company have helped me seamlessly transition into the world of work. A comprehensive training program and a culture which allows me to feel comfortable in asking any questions has helped me enormously in settling here. 

Outside of work, I am a supporter/sufferer of Wolverhampton Wanderers, and enjoy watching other sports such as rugby and tennis. Additionally, I have a strong interest in politics, both in the UK and the wider world.
